Weekend Wrap Up: We’re in the Holiday Mood

This past weekend had the potential for quite a few of the movies to come out on top, and it seems like people are really starting to get into the holiday mood. Four Christmases wrapped up the top spot, with a bow on top, taking in 31.1 Million on the weekend to bring its total gross up to 46.1 million.  Lets see how the rest of the box office shaped up:

A very strong weekend indeed.  Twilight, as I expected, is falling fast, while Bolt looks to be on the way up.  I can’t get over how good that movie is.  You have to read this review, and then go see the movie for yourself.. it was great!

On the other hand, Transporter 3 opened to a very disappointing box office.  I heard that Jason Statham didn’t even want to work on the movie… so that can’t be a good sign at all.  I wonder how much they paid him to be in the movie, because he made the series, but if they had to pay him a lot to be in the film, it probably won’t make money.

A decent weekend for me personally, a lot of nice people coming in and buying gift certificates for their relatives.  I talked to a bunch of them and it seems like they’re going to use them to finish off their Christmas shopping.

I have to look into what’s coming out this week… I’m hoping its not too busy!
