Hey fletch! I think sports are a great idea, the only thing really holding it back is contracting. I was talking to a few people about it at work last night, and they seemed like they would be interested in watching their favorite shows on the big screen.

We just got a satellite hookup too, so we CAN watch TV.....

As for selling the posters... that's a great idea! I MIGHT have to pass that one onto corporate.... :-)

I have to agree that superman is a great song. At college it was the song for the goalie, and that rocked. Great stuff, Keith.

Star Wars is good, but too bad that its not even John Williams most memorable song. First of all, if you want to mention something in which anyone can whistle, hum, or whatever and instantly know the song, that should be the number one thing to judge this on. But I want to throw one more thing, if you here it, you get inspired, and unfortunately i can't find a way to get inspired to take on a storm trooper when i hear the theme to a movie known as the "New Hope". But when i hear the opening cords to "Superman", well i can kick anyones ass. But John Williams has nothing on a movies themes like the most memorable, loved and overplayed theme of all time, Bill Conti's "Gonna Fly Now" from our favorite short, italian, underdog by the name of Rocky Balboa. So with that...

I think they could even get away with a nominal charge ($1 or $2) for TV show viewings. After all, fans would be getting to see their shows on the big screen with a live audience. I'd do that now and then, I'd think, and I don't even have that many shows that I watch regularly.

You'd think NFL games at the least would/could be a big draw. However, I think if people want the family atmosphere, they'll stay home, and if they don't care, they'll go to a bar.

I've never understood why theaters don't sell DVDs, posters, etc. It boggles my mind. You want movie fans? You have them right there!

Hey Joe,
You missed "Sex and the City". Perhaps you can be forgiven since guys didn't like it quite as much as us girls. But it's still one of my top 3. The others defintiely including Firefly. Great post!
