I really liked that last comment you made about trespassing moviegoers and movies in 3-D:). I agree with your decision about the design since the current layout is indeed rich and pleasing to the eye but not particularly user friendly and one kinda of gets lost in it sometimes. I am getting back to the hang of things with my own blog as well so I'll be sure to check out what you are up to now and then.

Take care dude!

Hi Kevin! I don't disagree at all that a new director could improve New Moon over Twilight. Like you, I felt that the movie lacked depth, and it felt rushed. That being said, I didn't think it was bad, and did enjoy watching it. I hope that a new director will improve on the series, as I think it has a lot of potential. Only time will tell though.

Hope to see you back here soon!

Joe...I agree that the change in directorial leadership will have little to no impact on the overall outcome and reception of the second movie in this series. My family and I stumbled upon "Twilight" over Thanksgiving weekend as part of a holiday weekend movie gut stuffing. I anticipated the movie being the one dog of all the films we saw; however, it surprised me enough to rank among the top of the list. I enjoyed the story and the characters, and feel that the recipe for this series will likely drive the next in the series to the same level of success.

There is also a chance that a new director could actually improve "New Moon." One of the drawbacks of "Twilight" for me was that the actors seemed to be following a mandate to deliver their lines in a rather mundane fashion. I do believe that these characters have slightly more depth, and I hope the new director encourages the actors to push their characters beyond the typical teenage realm of angst and apathy and add new layers to the people on the screen.

Overall, though, you're right. When it comes to the opening weekend, I probably just won't care who directed the film. I'll care about the story, compelling characters and whether I enjoyed my 100 minutes in the theater.

With the lot of comments all over the world Four Christmases (2008) is getting in to hearts of people with lot of interest. I love the story of the movie. All in all it is December. The month every one thinks about their families.

Have to agree with you that it is strange that they have released so many R movies during the Christmas period.

Apart from Bolt, Four Christmases (Four Holidays in Aus) and High School Musical there are not many family movies this year.

I think you guys should make a movie off the book series, Warriors. I have read all six of them, and their great! They are purfect movie maltirial! They are about cats, and ther clans. Thats right, cats live in clans! it might sound weird, but they are action paked, and full of adventure! The main charecter in the first six books is, fireheart. He was just a regular house cat, until he finds out about the cats in the forest. He was first known as, Rusty, a house cat, then he became an apperentice, then known as Firepaw. Then he becomes a warrior, known as Fireheart. Then he becomes the leader of his clan, known as Firestar. There are four clans of cats. There is Thunderclan (Fireheart"s clan), Riverclan, Windclan, and Shadowclan. Fireheart develops enemies over time, one main one is Tigerclaw. But if you guys ever read the books, I wouldn"t tell you what happends. In other words, I wish and hope you guys make a movie out of just the first one. If you guys plan to do more, great! I absoultly LOVED the books, and they would make great movies! Thanks for listening!
