Weekend Wrap Up: Return to High School

I think it can safely be said that this Halloween wasn’t one for the movies. Despite a few good horror selections (Saw V, Changeling, The Haunting of Marley Hartley), many opted for other forms of entertainment. I really think that theatres should be able to get a nice digital copy of Rocky Horror Picture Show, and be allowed to do something special for it every year. I think that staff and guests would be able to have a lot of fun with it! Instead, I just got to deal with kids sneaking into Saw V, pissing off other guests and subsequently having to kick them out. Oh well. Did have a few interesting costumes from the staff… wish I got some pictures. Anyway, here’s how the weekend turned out: Read more

Weekend Wrap Up: Back to High School

I’m back!!! Well, for a brief post tonight. I’ve really missed blogging here, and I want to get back to it, but I’ve just been so busy. Lots of working, and trying to study for the GMAT. I can’t say that I’ve done enough of the latter, but I’m getting to it. I experienced the business of this weekend, as you can see by the numbers I’ve listed below. Parents brought their kids out in droves to check out High School Musical 3. I can’t say that I see the appeal in the movie, but plenty of people obviously did. I expect a strong weekend for Saw III next weekend, especially on Halloween night. We’re allowed to dress up at work this year… do you think I should? Read more
